The application includes a copy of the ODEC Constitution included explains the credentials offered. It will also explain our organization more fully. All members are required to pay an annual membership fee.
Steps to apply
Please complete each of the following steps before mailing back your application. Any missing information will delay the process.
- Fill in the included application completely.
- Although not necessary, a written recommendation of sponsorship from an ODEC Minister in good standing may benefit your request for membership.
- If you are applying for Deacon/Deaconess or Associate, please continue with Step 4. For all other applications, ask three other Ordained Ministers who have known you personally for at least 2 years to provide a confidential reference. The forms to be used are included in this package. Have your references return the forms directly to the name and address below.
- Include copies of any current ordination, license, and/or appointment certificates.
- Provide a current photograph of yourself.
- At your own expense, have a Police Vulnerable Sector Check conducted six months before the date of your application.
- Include a non-refundable application fee of $25.00 (cheque or money order made payable to The Open Door Evangelistic Church Incorporated or ODEC).

Upon receipt of all the requirements listed above, the ODEC Board of Directors will review the information. At a mutually convenient time and place, you will be required to attend an interview.
